Amber Fort (also known as Amber Fort or Amber Fort) is a hill fort located on a high hill in the Amber area of Jaipur, the capital of the Indian state of Rajasthan.

This fort was later built by Kachwaha Rajput Man Singh I. This fort and palace is also known for its artistic components of pure Hindu architectural style.

Filled with huge ramparts, series of gates and stone-made paths, this fort seems to be looking at the Mawtha lake built just below the hill.

This attractive and grand fort made of red sandstone and marble is built on four levels of the hill, each of which has huge courtyards.

In this, there are Diwan-e-Aam i.e. public courtyard, Diwan-e-Khas i.e. exclusive courtyard, Sheesh Mahal or Jai Mandir and Sukh Niwas.

This palace used to be the residence of the Kachwaha Rajput Maharajas and their families. Inside the fort, near the main entrance of the palace.

Amer and Jaigarh forts are built on top of a mountain in the Aravalli range and are connected by a secret mountain tunnel.

In the 37th session of the World Heritage Committee held in Cambodia in the year 2013, Amer Fort along with five other forts of Rajasthan has been declared a UNESCO.
