UP to host International Kite Festival before installation of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya
International Kite Festival :- Ahead of the Lord Ram Temple consecration ceremony on January 22, the Uttar Pradesh government is scheduled to host an International Kite Festival in Ayodhya.
According to an official release, the Ayodhya Development Authority has started preparations for this Makar Sankranti festival on January 14, which is likely to take place between January 19 and 21, before the installation of the idol of Ram Lalla. The event will be attended by people from across the country and the world. Famous kite flyers will get an opportunity to showcase their art. The official release of the Uttar Pradesh government said that to organize this festival on a grand scale, inspiration is being taken from various kite festivals organized in the country and abroad.
It said that ADA has invited applications to appoint a private agency for conceptualizing, designing, executing and supervising the festival. The agency for the Kite Festival will be selected by January 8.
The arena will be designed to accommodate 750 people with a VVIP lounge to accommodate 50 special invitees at the event.
The Uttar Pradesh government is going to start this festival before the consecration of the Ram temple. The color of the kites will be like the Ram flag. The arrival of Lord Ram in the temple will be celebrated with music of Ram’s name all around.
